Don't know if i was searching with the right wording or maybe no one has done it or looked into it. I was looking to see if anyone has ever taken a Manual tranny to a shop that specializes in building heavy duty manual transmissions or tran's all together. I've been recently running the idea by one of our local guys who builds the 03-04 cobra trans after he heard how much noise mine makes an he seemed kinda interested but i'd have to get my hands on one thats in decent shape an not in my car already. I also dont wanna bother him if its not worth his time being he's kinda expensive too. If anyone can let me know if its pointless cause the trans is weak anyway or if its already been done it be nice. I know most peoples are covered under warranty still, i'm just annoyed with going threw 2 of them with barely 4k on one of them.
