Default N/A build up

I've been researching some ideals for a naturally aspirated 350Z and have come up with a short engine part list. Please give any information on anything else that I might have missed. Im not sure if the Cosworth big vavle heads have high RPM valve springs that I would need on a N/A motor.

JWT camshafts C2 race
Cosworth big valve heads
Cosworth high compression pistions and and conneting rods (95.5mm)
1000cc fuel injectors
Steel braided fuel lines
93psi MSD fuel pump
Stock counterbalanced crankshaft knife-cut
Nismo exhaust and r-tune headers
HKS piggyback ECU
Triple carbon clutch
Cosworth head bolts and metal head gaskets
ARP 8-bolt camshaft bolts

I'm no expert but the things I think you either wont need or should change are:
You wont need 1000cc injectors maybe an upgrade but not more than double, 1000whp supra's use 1000cc injectors!
I would do a different exhaust for flow reasons although some will argue that its not very important.
Definately some higher flow headers for that extreme of a built, custom long tubes as adam always recomends for things like this.
You wont need a triple carbon clutch either, I would go with a tilton set up, very light, revs like the devil, and is about as tough to drive as a triple carbon set up (I know from experience)
The rest looks good, but I would do a UTEC rather than the HKS set up.

Just my .02 but im sure you will either get the typical "Search" Flames or some more usefull advice.

+1 on those injectors. You will not need that big of an injector. You could probably run 440cc or an injector in the 500cc range

Cosworth heads do come with dual spring valvetrain that Cosworth claims to be able to handle 10,500 rpm. Might also want to do the Cosworth bearings as well.

As for the fuel system you shouldn't really need to upgrade the fuel pump or injectors unless they are maxed out. Its very unlikely that you will.

1000cc injectors are QUITE LARGE for any N/A build...

the nismo headers are fine, but you can do better on the exhaust.

wow - Thats a pretty agressive N/A build your looking to do -

However, I don't think your doing your homework properly on this one. I'm sure what's happening is that your reading what people have and are thinking "I should get that" without really looking into it.

As far as headwork goes - I strongly suggest that you have the stock heads extrude honed and then machined for oversized valves. (my shameless plug) (I just finished developing a new Valve for the VQ35 that accepts the factory retainer and lock so no need to go with all the accesories, just use our oversived valve with your stock components)

That combined with some nice super aggressive camshafts would be a very beneficial application for an all motor build. After that, if you have deep wallets, then stroking would be an excellent option (again with the shamless plug - look for a 4.0 stroker kit to come from us for less then 3500 very soon)

all in all - 1000 cc injects are way to big for this vehicle, there are guys with turbo applications using 550 CC injectors, and they are enough -

Has anybody used the Cosworth heads yet? I've seen them for sale on a couple vendors websites, but I've never heard of anybody actually using them.
