just out of curiosity I havent heard anybody talking about putting in a 1.5 way with the new 4.083 that has come around. Would Cusco RS/MZ or Nismo 1.5 way LSD's work with the 4.083?

 

there are several threads with people running the Cusco RS and other diffs and 4.083 final drive...that final drive works with any of the diffs out there

n1ck! on here just got that exact combo from us not long ago (Cusco RS + 4.083); __jb got his Carbonetics diff and 4.083 from us recently as well.

I have never sold a single MZ, nor would I recommend one unless its for an all out drag car - its street unfriendliness is simply not worth it

I'll probably be upping my car to a 4.083 final drive in the spring as well. Currently have the 3.9, but by then I'll have around 40k on the diff, so wanted to take it apart just to see how its doing inside, and that would be the perfect time for me to make the change
