350Z Oil Consumption
My 2005 35th aniversary edition is going thru 1 quart of Mobil 1 10W-30 every 400 miles with 47K on the engine. What (if anything) should I do?

Since you're new I'll be gentle. Search. But since it's your first post...

PS: and read the consumption thread for help/info
As stated above, read the Oil consumption thread stickied at the top of this forum.
The 2005 anniversary editions and the 2006 manual transmission models have the same rev-up engine. There is a TSB that has been released regarding this.
Go to the dealership and tell them your engine is eating oil. Bring them a copy of the TSB, since most dealerships will not have it on file. Request an oil consumption test, which will require them to give you an oil change and "seal" the oil filler cap, oil drain plug, and oil filter. Some will mark the dipstick too but that's not necessary.
Come back to them in 1,000 miles and have them take a reading after letting the car sit for half an hour or more. If it's below the level described in the TSB, you are entitled to a new engine.
