MY OWN Borla Review
So, I finaly installed her today. Did it with a freind who used to work as a mechanic. Install was pretty easy. Jacked the car up by the rear, added some stands for saftey, then went to town. Hardest part was getting the stock muffler off, it was a pain to unscrew and balance, but the two of us managed allright. The Borla went on quite easy, just took a little extra time to make the final line-ups and tightenings. Fit-n-finish is quite good. The tips are basically in stock position (id say a hair farther out) when properly installed. And no, my left pipe doesnt rest on the stab bar.
Sound: Quiter than I thought it would be, but overall, throughout the revs, it louder than stock. The stock only really came alive at 3-4000RPMS, and sounded so so the rest of the time, but the Borla has CHARACTER. Its deeper and much more mellow at idle, and stays that way through the low revs (which is where it sounds MUCH better than stock). Driving in a higher gear is now much more fun in this car. At high RPMS, it sounds more refined and metalic, but definately not tinny. It sounds alot like a Porsche to be honest, which has that deep, refined metalic sound.
Performance: This is where the Borla suprised me. The main difference being its smoothness. The borla revs smoother, but also decelerates MUCH smoother...engine braking is much less lurchy but pure butter
As far as power is concerned...yes I do feel a difference, it pulls more progressivly , and has better "umph" down low (where it sounds heaven). I think the smoothness of the exhaust masks some of it performance benefits to be honest....it phisically feels like a free-er flowing exhaust, but not a MUCH faster exhaust if you catch my drift.
All in all, a great but, the best $700 you can spend. I wouldn't even mess with the intake at this point, put your money right here.

Just thought i'd mention, everything Brad4rdHay said is exactly how i feel about the borla exhaust.
Great review Brad.
So far it seems like everyone is very pleased with it. I've had a few people comment that they dont like it, but then again they where driving around with a fart tip on their car. Personally, i love it, and its exactly what i was looking for.

Why thanks doc
I can't wait to break this thing in fully.
Another way to describe the sound is its more "unified". Before it was exhaust-inake-exhaust-intake...where now, its just one great sound all the way through.
