do the kinetix h/f cats go well with the borla system and if so would any one recommend installing the cat yourself or is it very hard?

Got the Borla slapped on today.

He had it installed my Midas for $90 as stated on the previous page.

You can do it the "jack stand way" no problem with only hand tools.

BriGuyMax is correct. I believe Tere did hers at home (with her son's help) on jackstands. Tere could tear down and rebuilt a Boeing 707 though!!!

That does sound good and I dont understand it either. I have heard a few others with borla and didnt like it at all? Could it be the blower that changes the sound? or maybe you are running with the stock cats?

Anyways it sounds real good.

The sound clips I posted with the Borla were done long before I had the Supercharger. I have always liked the sound both before and after the blower.

Got me convinced. Borla is definitely the best bang for the buck from what I've seen. A couple of questions though. One, what are the hp gains and what else can i add to increase the exhaust flow? Second, what is the clearance from the back pipes to the rear bumper? I'm getting a body kit installed and the manufacturer recommends at least a 1 inch clearance to prevent any damage to the rear valence.

By the way, I agree the clips sound great!!!

Dr B,
Are you running the stock cats and headers on your Z?
I really like the sound of your car.
Sounds sweet.
Does borla make cats and headers to add to the true dual system?

Don't know why it is cheaper. It just is.

I have the dual exhaust only. No cats or headers.

I have had Borla on my last two cars and have really liked it.

I would like to hear some clips of the Nimso unit. Anyone have any sound clips of it?

I have had the stillen exhaust; however, i still miss the stock exhaust with high flow cat sound. Header + hight flow cat and stock exhaust.....best sound I have been hearing so far.

It sounds great. It looks great. Don't know how much (if any) HP gains I got, but sure, I would certainly do it again.
