Default Somebody PLEASE clarify this for me. *Canada*

I bought my 04.5 Nissan 350Z from a fellow, who already registered and inspected this Z from the US (Washington).

Anyway, can somebody clarify a few things for me:

- Are the axles (more specifically rear clicking TSB BS) covered under powertrain? Dealership says 3/60,000km for TSBs, but that doesn't make sense since the bulletins are there to help the techs fix a manufacturer's defect.

- What specifically is covered under my 5yr/100,000km POWERTRAIN warranty (besides the obvious engine).

Don't tell me to use the search engine. First off, I can't see it 80% of the time as it's covered by a stupid ad, and second searching for "axle clicking" yields 95% useless crap.

Thanks people in advance!

You can go to Nissan and they will fix the clicking problem.

After warranty, TSB's are a pay item (as opposed to recalls or campaigns, which are always free).

Powertrain at the least is engine and trans, beyond that I have no idea. Do you have the warranty information from the dealer? That'll say outright.

You can also get to search from the 'Forums' dropdown at the very top of the screen, the silver bar; shouldn't be hampered by ads then.

They said my car IS covered under warranty, being an ex-USA car - 5/60,000 (or 100,000?) either way it is STILL under warranty until June 2009.

As for them saying only TSB's are covered up to 3/60,000 does NOT make any sense to say the least.

I think I will speak to the service manager instead of this pothead service writer (no offense, but I know him outside of Nissan - he is a pothead lol).

Nissan North American settled this for me. They have a file open and the service manager for my dealership is involved as well. No way in hell the axles which fall under powertrain are NOT covered.

Asshats.
