270whp VQ dyno!
Oh, I forgot to mention: Its a VQ30DE-K
Mod list:
VQ30DE-K Swap
VQ35 Oil pump w/ low pressure cut off switch
VQ35 JDM cams (similar specs to JWT S1)
VQ35HR valve springs and retainers, double shimmed
Mild head "work" (NOT ported though)
Unorthodox flywheel
Exedy Stage 1 clutch
Greddy EManage Ultimate
Pathfinder TB
Stock DEK crank pulley
Custom intake w/ MAF delete
Cattman headers/y-pipe/catback (plus cutout)
Low temp T-stat
Walbro fuel pump
Returnless fuel rail w/ adjustable FPR

Maxima. 2000-2001. Its basicly a VQ30DE with a varible Intake manifold. Power went from 190hp to 222hp with this motor, then in 2002 Nissan switched to the VQ35DE (which, in FWD for at least, still has a varible manifold)
This cars manifold has been gutted (which helps explain why there is low end power loss, cams add to that somewhat)
He's actually swapping out this motor for a VQ35DE as we speak.

With a better setup and oil pump, he could have revved out to bout 8000rpm, and made 275hp at 7600rpm or so.
Cams.
I don't know why people think they will go fast and make power without them.

Those are awesome numbers, look at where it is making peak power. Good Job Man....
Do you happen to have the specs. of the camshafts?
