hmm...

I'm no pro when it comes to car issues, but it sounds like you might also have an issue with plugs/wires?(or something related to that) if the car is turning over I would assume there should be enough fuel in there.. but if it dies shortly after... ?

..just a thought

Any codes?

Clean the MAF
Clean air filter
Change fuel filter
Change spark plugs
Check for plenum leaks / vacuum issues
Do the throttle re-learn procedure
All the normal chit

hmm well now i started it up today and it works fine

so im guessing somethings wrong with the plugs or the wires

the check engine light is on so im going to take it to autozone tomorow and see what the code is its throwing and run a diagnostic

i think the problem is just with the computer itself..

TPS = throttle position sensor. I'd try the re-learn procedure before letting them take it apart.

How can you change the fuel filter? There isn't one on the Z.

Are you sure about that?

Well, I don't know how you check yours, but on every other Z & G (besides yours), the fuel filter is here. Gotta luv the n00bs on this forum. Lol~

It really is not a fuel filter persay but a fuel sock that every fuel pump(just about) has and most cars have a real fuel filter that can be replaced easily.Nissan just uses the fuel pump sock as it fuel filter as does Chrysler products and a few others.
