I think I'd just go with stock mounts instead of solid ones...

^ +1, I would like to know how on earth you broke the stock motor mounts. I have never seen such serious OEM mounts in my life.

That being said, I have SVRT solid motor mounts, but they are not for the faint of heart.

Red face

lol well, i got 20" rims...so im guessing thats the first issue..and i got a couple other motor mods nothing serious...about 320whp...my motor is hitting my strut tower bar, which is hitting my hood..i have a carbon fiber hood which is now crack because of this...ooh, and there is another set of mount that are not solid, they are polyurathane..which is supposed to be stronger than stock and not as bad as solid mounts...

I don't think having 20" rims is causing your problem. I have 20's on my car and I don't have any issues. Are you running a plenum spacer? If I read correctly, if you using a spacer bigger then 5/16, then it'll hit your strut bar.

So it has no FI or nitrous

Tuned with a SAFC2

Hell, the salesman told my particular Z came with 400hp from the factory. Pretty damn awesome

i also forgot to mention, i have the full nismo exhaust system with headers, and a cold air intake by AEM, i dont know if this makes any difference but also i changed my throttle bottle with another facotry one, but i polished the inside of it before i installed it..im planning to do a 150 shot of nitrous...FI is way too expensive for me right about now...anyone know anything about the engine mounts tho? this is kinda important at the moment (BTW) does anyone know an alternative to the SAFC2 cause the thing is mounted right on my steering coloum and very annoying..i dont wanna unplug and move the thing, knowing me i might mess the whole car up

Just so you know... cold air intakes are known to lose power.

Okay, since you have no idea what you're talking about in regards to likely power output from your car - what makes you think your motor mounts are even broken?

BTW, in case you didn't get the hint from the above posts, your car is not making 320rwhp.

If you are having all of these rubbing/interference issues under the hood, it makes me think your car might have been in a very bad accident and something is severely out of whack!

i brought my car to a mechanic, and they told me that my motor mounts are shot, my rear diff bushings are bad, and my sub frame bushings are bad..and they showed me that the mounts are bad by putting my car on a lift, and my my motor by hand, and the mount on the driver side was moving and making a clacking noise..and i really dont car if the car is making 320whp, 500whp, or even 100whp, i like my car, it looks and sounds great, im just going by what i was told, i joined my 350z for help and ideas, i didnt think people on here were gonna be jerks about a couple questions i had..
