I just recently installed my new solid tranny mount and I need some help. I've tried to search, but couldn't really find a true answer. Since it has been installed, I feel a little more vibration and can hear more noise inside the car, especially when I rev the engine. Is this normal? I put it in just the way the stock one came out? I also tightened the long bolt with the weight on it all the way down as far as I could. Is there a certain way it should be oreintated? I know that it's obviously going to be different than stock, I just want to make sure that there is no problem with the car. Just with me getting used to the new feel? Thanks in advance for your help and opinions.

 

if its a solid mount, or even stiffer rubber than stock, then yes, it's going to transmit more NVH

No idea on the install, as I've stuck to my stock mounts - might want to ask whomever you got it from, or the manufacturer, if instructions weren't included
