hey guys need some help. how can i test my fuel pump on my 350z? and also is there a relay for the fuel pump? my car died a few weeks ago and i thought it was the throttle body but i replaced the throttle body and still it wouldnt turn on. so if anyone can help me with this information pleace let me know.

 

when you turn the ignition on can you hear the fuel pump turn on??

 

i tried that but i mean is it a loud noice? lol a buzzing sound or what? its behind the passager seat right?

 

I have a hidden cut-off switch for my fuel pump circuit (just a little security anti-theft feature). You can definitely hear the pump priming when it's on.

 

ok one more question guys. is there a relay or fuse for the fuel pump.. and where is it located?

 

Yes. Behind the driver's side kick pannel. The fuel pump 10amp fuse is located on the upper left of the fuse block.

 

its a "humming" sound when your pump readies itself you will know as it very distinct compared to the chime you hear when the door is open or when you start the car. just listen for it. no one addressed this but i would suggest you check the fuse gothchick told you about as that might be your problem right there.
