You mean something they poured in the oil, or a mechanical device, like an accumulator?

I just bought some Polydyn TX7 to add to my oil. It gave my Celica GT-S 3-4hp and helped my mpg to 35-40mpg. Should be in any day now for the Z. For $35 shipped its worth it. Here is were I got it at.

When I do my oil change with synthetic, just minus 1/2qt of that and add 1/2qt of TX7. 3000 miles later I'll do the same thing. After the first 2 oil changes the TX7 should be in full effect. Now I'll start adding 1/4qt with every change following or I'll skip every other change and not use TX7 but when I do I'll add 1/2qt every other time. Depends on the best results of the product. I have never put any into the Z just used in the Celica. It's good results for me with a cheap price so its worth a try to me. If you need more infor just read up on that thread. They can prob answer more questions then I can.

He had some graphs that showed it's effectiveness, but I never saw any credable 3rd parties try it out. I'm not trying it in my turbo car...

None of them places are around here so I have to order it online. I trust this stuff tho. I have gotten better mpg in the Celica. I don't know about hp wise. Cant feel 3-4hp but in dynos its proven that it works.

Pour in additives don't do anything for a car with less than 200,000 miles.

I just added the TX7 in the 350. Before I was getting 17/26.3mpg now I am getting 31.6/38mpg. I'm using it with Mobile1. I would suggest looking into this, I also feel a small difference in response.

C.R. did extensive research on oil additives; bottomline: DON'T waste your money on them! Modern motor oils are "high tech'", so to speak; they contain all that's necessary for an engine to last over 200k miles, at the very least. Do get high quality oil
filters, so that micronic-size particles are kept from doing damage.

Are you guys always like this for people trying to try something new? It might just been the oil. Who knows? But I do know.. before the oil change I never seen over 26.3

Now, I don't know if I did something wrong during the change or what.. But that's a big difference.

Damn.. Sorry I'm a Newb at the 350Z and all, but would you like me to video tape it as well? All I'm asking here is whats going on? Even if I am using the gauge. Then why have the numbers changed so much? I just want to make sure I have nothing wrong with the car if its not the oil..
