I ran a search and I can't find what the Stillen S/C is putting down to the wheels.

Anyone know? I was kinda curious.

 

I thought it was something like 345rwhp. Could be wrong. There was someone w/ a redline Z and procharger saying another Z had a "roots-type blower" (stillen) installed and it only made 30hp...

I believe the lastest Turbo magazine says 314whp. I can double check when I get home. Can't believe everything the magazines say though.

 

I can't believe for all that money and the hood addition, that the stillen only makes that much HP. Doesn't even seem worth it. 30 HP is just plain horrible for that amount of money.

 

No problem......i think the Stillen S/C could net a lot more HP if the went intercooled

 

I talked to a guy at the last Stillen day about the SC. He said that it was really detuned because they are trying to make it CARB legal. I guess they only get one shot to get it right, if they don't they have to wait a long time to re-test.

I didn't really like the set up. No intercooloer, Funky hood, Roots type blower. Also when the car was dynoed, it didn't sound much different from stock. All that plus the price just doesn't make the great of a deal in my opinion.

i don't know where you got 30 hp. at stillen day the car layed down 309rwhp. the base line on a stock 350z is about 235rwhp. thats 74rwhp. the 287 you are think is at the fly. stillen claims 354 at the flywheel

 

Well, I am just going by the dyno that elektrik posted in this trend that showed a 32 HP gain for the Stillen. Now, if you have different results, post the dyno and I stand corrected, after all, I really think and hope the Stillen does put out more power.

ok you have me there. i don't remember were i read about it but if you goto http://www.350zforum.com/ there is a video at the top were it say roadster and smz video. if you download it it has it were the supercharger pull a 309rwhp. that was sport z magazine. i not saying i would get it, i personally am waiting for a tt setup. it is the weakest one out there. i just wanted to let people know that it does put over 300 to the wheels. trust me that would be the last resort for me. i would go with the ati procharger before stillen
