Top Secret has one in development, it will be released with their turbo kit (got this information from an official top secret distributor).

I don't that would fit inside the Z's chassis.

However, a 3.8L VQ35 would be a great deal. I actually wish the VQ35 was a 3.8L.

I think the FX's V-8 would fit, since both vehicles are on the FM platform.

You could also look around to mix and match nissan parts, as this is normal in the Z heritage. Many people build stroker L series motors (from the 1st/2nd Gen Z) by using the L28 block, L24 Rods, KA24 pistons and diesel Maxima crank.

Hmm, whats the bore/stroke of the QR25 in the SEr and Altima?

I'd have to agree but I hear that would cost alot to change the engine and transmission to the one of the FX45 and I would think you would have to make it awd since the 45 is only in awd. But that would be soo damn cool. From what I read Nissan was going to birng out a Vq3.3 with 300hp and better and fast reving, and a better block on the Nissan skyline non turbo and a tt verison of the GTR but just rumors that is all.

IIRC, the FX had to switch from double wishbone up front to struts. I don't know if this was to make room for the bigger engine or for more suspension travel (or both). So it might not fit.

GM makes a 4.3L V6. In fact they supercharged it, put it in an S-10 with all wheel drive and called it a Syclone. As I recall it still stands as the fastest production mini-truck ever made.

My old Ford Ranger had a 4.0L V6.

160 HP.

Was smoother than the VQ, but not surprising at slightly more than half the power.
