Default timing cover removal

Do you guys normally remove the oil pan when taking off the front timing cover? I just need to reseal the cover, nothing more. Everything is loose, I didn't want to pull the pan if I didn't have to.

check out the DIY threads in this section from rrmedicx. He did a total motor break down and build up. Im pretty sure that you have to remove the oil pan to get to 2 bolts that the pan covers up.

Yea I was looking but I didn't see it, I found it now in the motor pull thread, its those two bolts on the bottom inside the oil pan that are holding me up.
