Default AP Racing Ceramic Clutch

Has anyone seen or heard of it? Apparently i've got it on my car, and it's used on the Nissan Cup cars, but i've been searching for about an hour now and haven't heard anything about them.

Has anyone got any info?

Yeah, i already tried AP's website, but there's nothing there. Apparently the clutch is Z specific.
I've tried e-mailing them, but i still haven't got a reply from them.

Wait... WAT? You've got it on your car, but you don't know anything about it? Who installed it? Shouldn't they know something about it?

I bought the car with the clutch already on it. The previous owner had it installed just before he sold it, and he says that it was an AP racing ceramic clutch. That's all i know.
All i can say is that the clutch grabs like a mother *****, and is heavy as hell. It's a nightmare in stop and go traffic.

Awe... that explains it. Thanks. I was like... WTF??? LOL

Anyway... I've never heard of this clutch. Are you sure the previous owner isn't full of sh*t on this???

You would think such a clutch as your describing would have been mentioned in the FI forum at least a few times, unless this is a brand new product and the clutch in your car is one of the first. How long have you had the car and approx how long ago was this clutch supposed installed?

I've had the car for a couple of months, and i was literally still breaking in the clutch when he sold it to me. He could be full of ****, but i have nothing else to go by. He told that the clutch cost him nearly 2 grand, which could be a reason why nobody has used it. Also, AP is bigger here in Europe than it is in the US (i think).
I finally got an e-mail from AP, telling me that they have forwarded my e-mail to their technical department. Let's see what they say.

Awe... Yes, AP is bigger in Europe. Where are you located? You might have something that isn't available or common knowledge to the US market.

Let us know what AP says.

I got a response from AP, and they said that they don't make a specific clutch for the 350Z, but that there skyline clutch (didn't specify which) is directly exchangeable on to the 350Z!! That was something very interesting!!
He said that it was very possible that the guy that did the install used the skyline clutch on the Z.
