You mean rewiring the harness to the coil or what?

Basically I want to cut the #5 coil plug off, get a new one and re-run the three wires that connect to it. Just incase the wires or plug has shorted or built up a resistance. So where do these three wires connect?

Looking completely past you rewiring a connector without first testing it to see if you even need to, why do you need to know where the wires go? Just cut the old connector off when you've got the new one, and lay the wires in the harness out to correspond to where they went.

In any case...

Pin 1, PU/W is the signal wire, goes to the ECU.
Pin 2, B is the ground.
Pin 3, W/L is your B+.

Because the OP is not telling the whole story, that's why. Probably a stolen chop-shop car that he bought on the down-low or something...

screw you hippie. the reason I didn't want to go through and lay out the wires is becasue of the extensive amount of time it would take to trace them! If someone knew how to wire them then I could leave the factory harness the way it was and just directly run the new wires saving hours of time.

and really a coil wiring question implies stolen car? I mean really what am I going to do drive the stolen car off into the sunset on the number 5 cylinder?
