Default Pumpkin' Swap

Hey I am going out of town to do a pumpkin' swap and the other Z is at a house with no tools. I was wandering what all I need to get the pumkin's out and swap them? I dont want to get up there and be unpreparred! Thanks!

You don't need much. I don't remember the exact sizes but a metric socket set will be fine in addition to a metric wrench set as well. Take several larger sockets(17,19,21mm) as I can't recall what size the three carrier bolts/nuts were but they were on the larger side. Its such an easy swap and should take no longer than an hour.

Unbolt 4 drive shaft bolts. Unbolt each axle(6 bolts/axle). Unbolt sensors on each side of the back side of the diff(1 10mm each side). Remove vent tube from back/topside of diff. Remove 2 carrier bolts in front side bushings and then remove rear nut from backside through crossmember. Wiggle diff out onto a jack or your chest(if you can handle it). That's it.

Don't they have allen head bolts?

Only for the drain and fill plugs. I would just leave it full to keep oil on the parts to prevent rust/oxidation.
