Needs Help! Fans dont appear to be spinning fast enough.
Hey guys,
Been having some problems with my car overheating while sitting in traffic, this is the only time that the temperature gauge will rise and it doesnt seem to do it all the time. The other day I saw my gauge start to rise and I hopped out of the car and popped the hood. I noticed that both of my cooling fans are barely spinning, this was a 90 degree day in florida and I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, shouldnt these things be spinning on high speed? What could be causing this problem?

You probably have air in the cooling system. But that usually causes a no spin. a slow spin, i have no idea what it could be.
To tell if you have air in lines.
Warm up car:
1. Put climate control on hot and blast it. Does it have hot air coming out
2. Are your radiator hoses soft or hard.
3. Is your bottom driver side coolant hose hot or cold.
