Default Coolant hose clamps (dress up recommendations?)

I got some Samco Red hoses coming in and they are Red. I wanted to get some nice clamps to go with them and wanted to see what people recommended and if anyone had pictures.

Thanks!

The guy that makes clamps and caps is ZToys. I think he is from Ontario.

I don't think the Python "hose-lock kit" company is in business anymore. I remember searching for their website a month or so ago, and couldn't find anything. This is where Terrry @ Ztoys gets his supply from. Maybe he has some in stock though...

Those look nice. Trying to find out how they install though as it's kinda interesting how they work. Did you buy the kit? I would assume the kit would work fine for me even though I have the HR but the hoses never changed in size.

Each clamp is made of 2 round aluminum pieces. They mate to eachother by screwing one into the other, like you would a PCV pipe fitting. Inside the aluminum hose clamp is a hard plastic ring. When you start screwing the round fittings into eachother, it causes the internal plastic ring to shrink in diameter. This is what clamps down on the hose. If you loosen the aluminum fittings, it has the reverse effect. So, you detatch your hose completely, then fit the hose clamp over the hose. You then re-atatch the hose to whatever it went to, like the radiator. You then start turning the 2 aluminum pieces, that make up each hose clamp, in different directions. The inner plastic ring will clamp down on the hose. The kit comes with these little wrenches too. They catch onto the grooves on the aluminum hose lock. You turn them like a pipe wrench to tighten the locks, beyond what you can with your hand. I put little pieces of duct tape on the wrenches, so they wouldn't ruin the finish of the clamps.

Here's mine...

I did speak to David from Pi-Thon some time ago and bought some stuff, then he went quiet and emailes bounced back, I did pass his email / phone on to a fellow owner in the UK and I think he had success... Let me ask around

It looks like there are a lot of Mustang parts websites that are still selling the Pi-thon locks. Not sure what sizes we need but you might be able to get them from one of those sites. If it works out let us know because I know a lot of other people want them.

The big problem is that Pi-Thon appears to be out of business. The link I posted above from 5 months ago no longer works. Their other known link http://www.pi-thon.com/ is also no longer valid.

While there are some mustang sites that appear to be selling them, it may be stock they had left over. The only Z site I could find (Ultimate Z) still has them listed but followed by a big "DISCONTINUED..." warning.

You can't put a kit together unless you can find somebody to supply them in bulk at wholesale prices.

Look at them closely, they appear to be covers for regular hose clamps

So I have recently been searching the net for some engine bling.... I have fallen in love with the pi-thon hose locks but the damn things don't exist anymore

My question is, has anyone found something similar to these hose locks and has anyone purchased any and if so do you have any pics. If someone could help me out in this search that would be much appreciated.
