Default help!...tried to install...

Was going to install the Stillen grounding kit i got the other day since the power was out all over the place and it was nice out after the storm. The first thing it said to do was remove the strut bar so i started taking out the bolts and then I decided it might be a little too late in the day to mess around with this. So i went to put the screws back in and the strut bar wasn't lining up with the holes. To get to the point of the thread, I stripped the thread on one of the bolts but i got the other 3 back in fine. So now the passenger side just has the 3 bolts on. Is there any way this can be fixed? Any suggestions? Anyone in the charlottesville or fredericksburg area interested in helping with install?? Sorry for the long thread guys but i look forward to hearing back. thanks

Chip

the bar has adjustable length. you can readjust as needed.

i took the bar off my friends z and put it back without having to readjust anything.

btw, why did you get a stillen grounding kit? just curious cause they charge so much for it. z-xtreme.com earthing kits are only $75.

I got a package from one place and they gave me a good deal on everything. I know that the bar is adjustable but i was having trouble adjusting it NOt the best tools maybe. My problem is though, will I be fine leaving on just the 3 bolts? Or is there a way to fix the stripped threading in the hole and the bolt?

Yeah, it said remove the strut bar and then the engine cover, but i think now that i could have gotten the engine cover off without removing the bar. I think i know but can someone post a picture of the throttle body
