I was taking a look at the US Spec PE TT Kit and noticed that the piping runs very high to the hood, posibly getting in the was of the Crawford Strut Brace Bar. I hope that this is not an issue as I plan to combine the two in the very near future.





Do you see a problem? I sure hope that I'm wrong.

I have a very strong feeling that the Crawford STB will get in the way of the PE TT piping. As you can see, the STB is very close to the front of the engine. In fact it's about 1 fingerbreath above it. Looking at the PE pix, the piping appears to be slightly higher than the front of the engine. The STB will surely hit it or will not allow it to fit.

 

I would have to agree with fdao on this. It is going to hit, so i would just get rid of the STB.

 

I'm sure someone will come out with a bar that will accomodate both

 

perhaps someone can put a bend into the tubing on both sides.

shouldn't hinder airflow much, but will give room for the crawford FSTB.
