Default Borla Headers and Act Clutch kit Help please

Hey Guys,
I have someone offering me a great deal on Borla Headers and an Act Clutch kit with Flywheel.

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the 2 items, maybe someone has them on their car now? How do they compare to other clutches or Headers?
Let me know what you think!

Thanks
Matthew

Read the Borla threads from 2004. You may change your mind.

There is not one ACT clutch kit. There are several. Some may be suitable for street use. Some may not. Besides is this a used kit?

Excellent, thanks for the great advice, you stopped me from making a big mistake.

To answer your question, no they are not used, both are Brand New.

As for the clutch kit, the part number is NZ1-HDSS, im not too sure of the exact name of the kit itself.

Thanks
Matthew

I have the Borla headers and I lost power until I had the reflash installed, thats when I think the borlas started to help.

Its kinda hard for me to say too cause I dont know alot other people with Z's to ride in.

yeah that what I was thinking, but I figured I wasn't gonna see the benefit from the headers UNLESS I had the tune done.

[tune+borla headers > tune+OEM headers] ...but..... [borla headers+OEM MAP = OEM MAP+OEM headers]

...in my opinion. But I don't have people close to me with Z's and different set ups to compare.

I wish I could go back and try the R-tune headers instead.
The headers are good with the tune, but NOT with OEM map.

but I did have AAM hi flows/ borlaTDE prior to the header installation so I dont know if it was a back pressure issue. That was one of my theroies.
