Swapping 06 clutch for 03 ?
As the title states I was wondering if it was possible to swap an 03 clutch into the 06 z. I drove several 03's in the past week and I was extremely annoyed to find out that their clutches performed tenfold better than the 06's I've test drove and owned. No sloppy engagement, sticking, annoying lightness and hesitation. Just a firm consistent feel. Which got me wondering if it was possible to swap an older version 350z clutch into the 06 model because I know they changed after 05 (pretty sure). I went to my Nissan Dealership and I left with no answer from them at all. So guys, is it possible?

I was thinking the same thing, i.e. put an aftermarket 03 or 04 clutch into my Z. Just needed to know if it was interchangeable. Nothing needs to be modified or changed? Thanks for the reply.

looking through some previous posts in this section it seems that the ACT 6 puck, JWT, and Nismo clutch are very popular. My main goal is for a heavier/stiffer clutch feel, with smoother engagement than the 0EM 06 clutch. A prior post from one of the vendors said that the Nismo clutch was a bit grabby? All the clutches seem great though from reviews.
