Default Does the Z have an interference Engine?

If all goes according to plan I'll be driving a 350Z this August, and I know a LOT about the car already, (and plan to do most repairs myself) but one thing I could not find is if the 350Z has an interference engine or not.

I'll be getting a 350Z with between 60-80k miles and I know that's right about when the timing belt breaks. So basically if the timing belt breaks while driving it'll also break all 24 valves and cost like $4,000 to fix them + the timing belt?

Looks like you don't know enough about the car...we have timing chains not belts.

Search on google.com wiki 350z and click on the first search result...

Don't forget to cinch up your muffler belts and top off your blinker fluid before jumping into this thread.

The amount of fail in this statement alone proves that wormholes exist.

I thought it was a pretty legit question, minus a few of the slight errors that someone un familiar with a particular motor might not know. As for bustin his ***** about a timing chain vs timing belt, holy Jesus it does the same thing, and you knew what he meant.

Yes, I'd agree that at times the signal to noise ratio can be pretty low.

However, your single post didn't help raise it any.

Instead of fixating and bishin' on an EIGHT YEAR OLD THREAD, post something constructive, substantive, and help raise the SN ratio.

Oh, and welcome. Aside from this, how were your other 19 days here?
