Well hello sorry to make a horrible intro but my name steve i went to the track tonight and this is my 1st time in my 03 G35 6mt.

Well i took VDC off launched at 3k rpms and the wheels were hopping, all of a sudden i lost my transmission...

the car is stuck in 1st gear so i was able to make it home. but it feels like the shifter is a limp noodle. any opinions on a solution to fix the car?

Sounds like something is bent. I would take the shifter apart and have a look. Maybe you got off lucky.

So it shifts normally through all the gears, but just feels "limp"?

 

no i'm stuck in 1st....will not go into any other gear

 

Fixed the problem Shifter pin fell out of the Shifter Fork! EASY fix i feel lucky
