I would just buy a set of good metric alan wrenches. I am not sure what the size is, but it is definitely a standard size that would come in a set. Why bore it out? I know there is a larger one on the aftermarket, but it is supposed to drop your low-end torque rather badly. Would you not need low-end torque in a drag race?

Boring out a throttle body provides a quicker throttle response and allows more air to enter the restrictive intake plenum thus allotting for more HP and TQ. I own the Company who is going to port and polish his T/B. I also port upperintakes for the 350's.

Thanks, Greg

Hey guys, Greg does good work. He worked on my friend Eric's 3000GT and man was that thing fast after all the porting and polishing was done. I can vouch taht he does good work - I'm trusting him with my car. We will be posting dynos after all is done - tomorrow we are going to the track for numbers before the porting and prob next week we will go again for numbers after.

Hey guys! I am the owner of OFL Motorsports and am a Engine Porter. I have started porting on the Nissan's line of 350Z's and have come up with excellent results as much as 25HP & 18TQ just from the Intake alone. I am currently charging $180 to port an upper intake, and $50 for Throttlebodies, and will port the lower intake, heads, ect... I have been in business since 2000 and have a very good reputation. If you guys are interested, I will do a Group Purchase for 5+ people. I have started to work on 6DUDE9's car and have seen gains so far just from the Throttlebody. More midrange - High. Should be good for about 5-8hp. I will be porting his intake next week and having his car dynoed and will be posting shortly after. I expect to see some major gains as you guys heads flow quite nicely and the only thing that is holding them back is that highly restrictive intake.

I am definately in for the port of the upper intake and the throttle body IF your dyno proves the gains (not that I don't trust you as a person, I just don't trust anyone that claims gains any more) and if you would be willing to keep a core on hand so there wouldn't be as much down-time on my car as it is my daily driver...

If the demand is there, I will hold a couple cores, but I need to test the market right now... I will get a dyno and post asap as I get one on a dyno... lol

Thanks, Greg

Keifer, remember I asked you where you were at the Orlando 250z meet and you said you were working? Well that was me asking - I'm in Orlando and Greg's working on my car. If you want to come over some time and see the difference in person you are deffinately welcome.

Hey, Porting/Polishing is a way to improve the velocity and amount of air into the upper intake and / or any part of the car and thus allowing for the heads to overall flow better and produce more power. It is achieved by grinding away excess material within the upper / lower intake and providing extra flow of air. While gaining CFM in your intake, you will make more power by allowing the car to breath easier and more efficiently.

Ya, both you gus had to work - LOL. If you want to set-up another meet I'm all for it, just the next two weekends ill be out of town but after I believe I should be free. If you just want to come over and check out teh car and talk to Greg in person it's koo. I go to UCF so I live close but off-camps. Here is what I got at the track today. This is my best run - maybe I might have a better run but I haven't gone through all the time sheets yet. BTW - my AIM screename is DuDsTeR622 in case you want to talk off the board (I'm always on just not always at my comp). Thanks
