Default Na bhp

First of all i'm REALLY sorry for the repeated question but for some reason the search function isn't working at all for me (keeps saying no matches found). If you can forward me to a link then that would also work.

I just need to find out quickly more or less how much you gain at the crank with a headers back exhaust with de-cats and an intake, all tuned.

Sorry and thanks

No actually. I couldn't care less about other peoples opinion on my car. It's my way of gauging the gain in horsepower because dyno's here in Spain are calibrated to measure crank horsepower. Don't ask me why, or there reasoning for it, it just is that way.

The engine is a Revup DE.

If you don't know engine power then just let me know whp and i'll try and estimate it from that.

Thanks

That seems to be about right. anywhere between 240-250 depending on the dyno. But what i need to know is the horsepower gain from the afformentioned parts.

Thanks

That's an average of 17 posts a day. You must have no life.

So, any help?

BHP is different than SAE HP ratings, the rev-up DE is rated at 300HP SAE. It may have 305 or so BHP.

OP, you'll be lucky if you gain 20-25WHP with the mods your planning on.

Just made 291 @ fly with the following
KN Typhoon but with Pop Charger filter
Plenum Spacer
Fujitsubo headers (with heat shield
Kinetix Hi Flows
5zigen y-pipe
5zigen Pro Racer

Tuned with a Unichip

Tuner seems to think that my zorst from the headers back varies in internal diamater so need to look at that...

I'm assuming that's with the 287 DE engine. That does seem a little low, but thanks for the input.

Sorry thought you asked for what people made? Not to give your opinion on if the numbers were good or not!

Its on a 276 btw...

Whats your dynoing at the moment?

it's basically an impossible question to answer since it depends on what exact components, and the quality of the tune - gains will all be relative to those specific things.

if you know what the car dyno's now and you have a reasonable idea of what stock Z's put down when new, then you can interpolate the gains yourself

I never meant it to be a nasty comment, if it's 276 then that's not bad.
I haven't dynoed the car yet as the nearest Dyno for me is a 14 hour round trip, so i'm going to wait until i have everything installed and then go.

id say at most you'd get 40 crank 30 wheel from those mods. Intakes max at like 8whp, exhaust at 12whp or so for cat back, and test pipes give 8whp max. all those numbers are estimates but that's what i would guess.

Good piece of info to know. Another consideration on BHP & dynoing your Z is temp. & elevation above sea level. I am over 1 mile in elevation so, my numbers are always lousy, even in the dead of winter when the cold air should be to my advantage.

Still hard to guess on your crank numbers, too many varaibles. By tune do your mean something like Cobb access port, technosquare reflash, or some kind of chip???
