Default Anyone know the weight of the VQ?

I need to rent or purchase an engine stand and I'm not sure of the weight requirement for the engine. My initial guess was 500-600 pounds for the long block with some of the extra bits attached but I'm not sure.

Found on NICO Forum:

VQ35 long block including intake manifold, no accessories - 313lbs.

On a recently calibrated auditing scale - supposedly accurate to within +/- 0.5lbs.

Default Thanks!

I appreciate the help.

Question... I was wondering if there are any odd or tricky sections when pulling the engine. I've read through the Service manual for Nissan techs and it looks pretty straight forward but I was wondering if any of you had any experience with the task?

Check in the N/A build section. I believe there was a pretty good write up on pulling the engine somewhere in one of those threads.
