Default 2003-2006 MT6 Trans swap please help!!!!!

Hey guys i have a 03' with syncro issues. I found a great deal on a 06 trans my buddy wants to sell me for $250. I looked at them today, and there are some differences. First the slave cylinder is internal on the 06 and the 03 is external. Also it seems the starter bolts up in a different spot. I know people are saying these swaps are easy. I just want to know they make everything fit. Please help me..,thanx....

I have a 2006 and changed the clutch myself. It has an external slave.

i think it is possible to switch the 2 trannies around being that the older style trannies have the starter holes on both sides. the only problem that lays left is the moving of the crank sensor other than that i think the switch could be made.

Thanks, this was probably the most common idea i've heard. Still really cant tell if the cases will swap but it seems as though this is what i'll attempt.

well you can swap the inside guts. that should be easy. as i said the hr block as i have has the start on the driver side. but when you pull the tranny on the 03-06 you have a spot on the block where you put a cover plate which is where you could you would mount the starter.
