Default Clutch!

I've done a couple of posts about the clutch bracket on the Z being loose but no one seems to have had the same problem. I know a year ago people were talking about how quickly the clutch engaged and I had the same problem. My Z is for recreational purposes only and after tracking it , my instructor said my clutch wasn't like the other Z's he'd driven and I said that's the way it's been since day one. I noticed a squeak later and felt like it needed lubing. When I crawled under the steering wheel I found that the clutch bracket was about to fall off. You could loosen one nut with your finger and the second one was as loose as it could be. I tighten everthing back and now instead of being a 1/2 inch off the floor it's more like 2" off the floor. I had to take it out and drive for an hour just to get used to the difference. I loved it right off the floor and now I hate it. There is an adjustment to it but it's way too much trouble to even change it. I'll just have to get used to the new travel. CAN ANYONE ELSE HEAR ME?

Loose things in the Z? no way...you must be hallucinating! umm ok i'm done with the sarcasm.

You want to talk about loose...the bolt for the front swaybar tie-rod end was completely missing on the driver side and loose on the other side. Apparently it came from the factory this way. I thought Renault bought Nissan and not the British.

Yeah, the clutch pedal is in my opinion not that great in terms of placement and feel. Engagement isn't very smooth and i wish i could lower the pedal a bit. I read the service manual but the specs for pedal placement don't vary too much from the factory though adjustable.
