Ya Ya that is true.. It's not like he got near 300whp.. Doesnt anyone else think that those numbers are realistic with all the mods? With a head/valve/cam job 300 is attainable on a revup?

Nice.. My Z is a oilaholic.. When it's paid off I'm going to see if Forged could maybe put something together in n/a form. Something thats not on the oilahol.
Something that will get me 300whp or a little beyond.

on the second engine. first was replaced at 24k due to oil consumption problems. burned 4 quarts in 3k miles! the replacement engine has been good so far. do you add any oil to your car in between services?

Ya I go through a quart every 900 miles or so. I just went and bought a quart today. The dealer is giving me trouble with a new engine.. They say I have to get my car pretty much back to stock to start the tests. And I know alot have failed, so I plan on just building a nice motor. When was your swap done?

the engine swap was done at 21k miles (2 yrs into owning the car, about a yr ago) and the transmission swap at 24k. it would suck to continually check and add oil. brought the car to the dealership for oil service since at the time only cost 25 bucks. the next day left for a 3k mile road trip for two weeks leaving from south florida to toronto canada. on the way up stopped in NYC and the car was sounding funny but thought it was the first time it seeing cold weather. on the return drive from up north heading home around north carolina heard a loud tapping sounding like the engine valves. pulled over to find a dry dip stick. filled with 4 courts until finally it registered normal. when getting home they began the test.. every thousand miles into the new oil service they monitored the level of oil on the dip stick and confirmed the engine burned way to much oil. no questions asked, new engine installed. when they test drove the new engine the head mechanic head the syncro's out of wack going into 6th gear and then replaced the transmission with no questions asked. great service!! however the car is now out of warranty and i couldnt afford running into those problems again. currently at 37k miles.

do you know how much $$ it cost him to achieve this? he could have easily gone F/I with the same amount but that wasnt his goal.

What do stock DEs, rev-ups, and HRs make on that dyno? What do DEs with bolt-ons make on that dyno? That will help better understand how/if the CF is off. It sure does look like it gets through 4th gear quickly, though 28xrwhp does seem high.

Too bad that grounding kit doesn't add jack for horsepower.

there was a Z day at the shop a while back and witnessed an 08 NA nismo stock Z put 277 down. tuner said my Z put the most down he has seen yet from a NA 06 models and older. with all the mods on my Z, the tuner said any 07 or newer would smoke my car if it was modded similar.

This greatly confuses me this engine stock should put out 300 rwhp if its manual right? With mods it should be well over 300?
How can you get your engine to run its full potential?
