Its cool flame on, but for those that have knowledge just pass it on to the ones asking.
Since Glenda is already taken we'll just let you be the great Jedi warrior protecting noobs from the "dark lord of the search" and with your jedi power of telekinesis you don't even need a spoon to feed them.

As far as I know a 300 shot on stock block will decimate all.

What does FI stand for?

+1 Figured we'd set an example of a non sarcastic question and answer. That way we'd be less "appaling".

well then maybe you should help the OP then, answer his questions and do his research. Your long winded response could have been used to contribute to his question instead of playing polite police. And then from here on out, answer EVERY noob that posts questions that are readily available with a simple search and see if you dont get annoyed...i used to defend noobness but not anymore...do a little research...be some what resourceful...

The sad thing is, the OP wouldn't of even had to do a search to answer his own questions. These basic "new owner" questions can be answered if he just took the time to enjoy the site, and read the stickies and posts that are already front page!

+1 most of these questions can be answered by just navigating very lightly thru each section... noobness ftl.....polite police FTL...

I am not the OP, but yes 2006ish 6spd Accords run near mid 14's in the quarter, modded is how deep their pockets are.

Grow up people the 350z is a great car but far from fast in stock form.

My initial reply was to the gentlemen that thinks modding a 350z with bolt ons is a waste, so buy nitrous instead.
HR's run faster than 14.2 btw. Another example of not knowing what you're talking about.

odd, anytime I ask a question here I do it in a polite and semi educated manner, and I only do it after exhausting my search options.. anddddd... guess what happens?

people give me intelligent answers.

who'da thunk it

It is true that the ******* quotient is appallingly high on my350z.com.

OP, if I had $1k to spend and my only goal was 1/4 mile times, I would do
1. Berk High flow cats - ~$400 (if you install them yourself)
2. Osiris and professional dyno tune - ~$600

That is about $1k and should give you decent gains. A Motordyne lower plenum and spacer is going to cost you about $650 new so would be over your budget.

I think a management system and tune would be important so you don't end up running too lean.

However, I'm an idiot and taking my advice would make you even a worse one. Do a lot of searching, reading, shopping, and then make your decision.

You just need a spanky from daddy, don't you. I know about the HR but do I have to list all years and models. I'm just throwing out a approx. number average no modders run.

Yes, yes you do. What the hell is a modders run? If your implying stock HR Z's can't run faster than 14.2 stock, you are wrong again sir.
