I see what you mean. But, you know (and no offense to anybody) that advertising will always have attractive (and subjective) words.

BTW, it states that the weight has been taken off from the circumference, where weight affects rotational inertia more. That means it'll allow for slightly faster revs.

Are there any negative effects using a brand new OEM clutch with a new lightened flywheel like the Z1 flywheel? I just have the basic bolt ons so no big HP numbers.

I stuck with the stock clutch and its plenty strong for my application and use. If your not too hard on it and hp is not drastically increased you should be ok.

Lmao. Guess I've been working on hot rod diesels to long. If y'all think this is chatter y'all should listen to a 3850lb plate load dual disk behind a 1000hp/1600tq diesel. Hell the singles chatter worse than the dual disk which chatters worse than the triple disk. If that's all I've gotta listen to then it'll be alright.

South Bend Clutch offers a "Quiet Disk" clutch, This paired with their steel flywheel and Motul Gear 300 fluid is the quietest aftermarket solid flywheel conversion we have heard to date.
Noise at idle is reduced to about stock levels and the noise under 2500rpm and accelerated is much quieter although you cant kill that completely.

Just the "Quiet Disk" option will reduce the idle rattle greatly even with a 14lb flywheel.
