Default Have an Exedy stage 1 clutch, need help selecting flywheel

I searched but didn’t find anything exact…

I’ve got an Exedy stage 1 clutch for my G35, I’m going to be installing it next week but I need to get a flywheel too…I’m a little confused as to which flywheel to select though…I was looking at either the Jim Wolf flywheel or the RPS flywheel.

Now I’ve also got a PowerLab GT35R turbo kit also pending install, so with that in mind what would you all recommend? I don’t really want anything that’s going to be louder than stock and the G35 coupe is my daily too…

Thanks!

Does Exedy make a flywheel? Get that one.

BTW want is the story on the stage #1 clutch? Is that not a OEM replacement?

I have an Exedy stage 1. No Davidv a stage 1 is a stage 1. It offers a slight increase in clamping force, and better qualities from the material its made of. It's a performance disk. Good for a car with with mods but n/a.
thatv35guy if you want quiet and your going turbo then save your money for a Exedy Hyper series clutch/fly. Use your stock flywheel until then.
I have a Fidanza and its noisy.(13.5lbs) I believe the Nismo is 19lbs. Stock is 27lbs i think.
If you heard my Z at a set of lights you'd be like, that thing sounds like a dump truck. I personally wouldnt want my G sounding like that.
I'm going to have my idle increased with my flash to aid that.

Yeah, here’s the thing tough, I already purchased the Exedy stage 1 (I’m still confident it’ll hold up to my power levels, approximately 360 – 400 whp) and my G’s currently sporting the oem clutch and flywheel with nearly 90k on them…I don’t think I’ll be able to reuse the flywheel and I’m not spending $800+ on a new one from the dealer.

Good point. Look for a deal on a oem one. Or deal with a bit of chatter. Look at the Nismo one. JWT, Fidanza. Get one that you can change the contact surface on.
