Angry throttle problems on a coupe 2003 vq35de

I can rev the car in neutral but as soon as I put it into a gear gear I cannot rev it up? Please help. I get no engine lights or anything.


I pulled neg and tried again still nothing

No stalling. I can rev the car to 7000.

I put cluch in and try and rev the car with clutch in and it will not rev just idels

Is your speed control turned on? I believe there's an interlock between the SC and the clutch to keep the engine from over-revving if you put the clutch in while the SC is engaged. Turning the SC off might solve your problem. Try that and report back.

where is this speed control button?

I also i have a g35 couple if that makes a different

Oops, maybe your car isn't equipped with a speed control. The switches should be on the steering wheel.

There may be a switch on the bracket above the clutch pedal. If it's there, hold the plunger in while the pedal is depressed, and see if the engine will rev up.

If it's not there, you'll probably have to get someone who knows more to help you solve the problem.
