im just a little confused about my clutch im not sure what i need to replace if anything. i bought my car used and learned how to drive stick on this car so i never really thought anything about how hard it was to drive until i drove another friends z. Thats when i started to pay more attention . i noticed that the rpms dont drop as soon as put the clutch in its a little delayed && that its really soft compared to any other car i drove. it doesnt start rolling until i let the clutch almost all the way out && it can be kind of difficult to put it into gear. can anyone help me && maybe give there opinion on what it might be?

How many miles?
If you bought a used Z it may have an aftermarket clutch and flywheel.

I cannot inspect the car long distance. Have a mechanic separate the clutch from the flywheel and take a look. Figure 2 hours labor or $160.
