Btw, where are you sending the car to be checked? not the nissan dealer right? wouldn't they void your warrenty as soon as they see the procharger?

The track went alright on Sunday.. it rained the night before so the track was a little bit slippery. Hence our bad 60ft times. Both Julian and I ran 13.1s @ 108 mph. The car can easily hit 12s. My 13.1 run was with me missing 3rd and having to double clutch.
I wouldn't complain, Mike; at 383 rwhp, 328 rwtq you'll still be wickedly smoking the competition; and the plus is that you'll be able to sustain the power right across the board. I am curious at what RPM did your power began to surge and the RPM when the drop occurred?

Got to talk to Narvin about the body work, are they really, absolutely super duper body shop; I was impressed that he spotted the tell-tale signs of previous work. That was a bad memory, as some dude, a stranger, decided to mark my zee from front to rear.

I have my NISMO body kit and looking for a super body shop to do the work.

I am frequenting, a “mod friendly” Nissan authorized service center. But thanks for the tip

When are you guys tracking next, as I plan to replace my stock 18” wheels with drag tires.

Thanks
G

Hi Gerald, yep Narvin does great work. He's done all the work on my car and a bunch of other show cars that you would see in car shows. Including micky's black veilside Z. If you'd like to stop by, you can take a closer look at my car and the work he's done. He won't let the car leave the shop unless it's done the right way. I'm sure you can also get feedback from several members here of his work.

Oh, next week is the last week that both raceway park and island dragway are open. That is until the spring.. SO let me know if youi'd like to do anything

read sig carefully ....sticky tires...1.94 is nothing..I didn't even really heat them up...and on another run I pulled a 1.83 60' but bumped the rev-limiter in 3rd...with a clean run that would have been under a 13.5 E.T.

Your brother needs to heat them tires up some more and he will definitely be under 2.0.

I dyno'd the Z Saturday on a mobile dyno... 218 hp at the wheels. What is up with this? I know it isnt the dyno because I dyno'd my 3g eclipse and I got 178. The Z is stock, and the eclipse has only an intake and exhaust. Did I get shafted out of the Z? It was a mustang dyno btw.

Mustang dyno ... thats the culprit. It seems they read about 15-20 lower.

Get your Z on a Dynojet and you *should* see about 230-240

That is what I thought, but that doesn't make too much sense. I really don't see how my eclipse could be putting 195-210 down at the wheels then, with only those two mods... But that is reassuring then.

Did he have the Fan on for you?

I relized after my pulls were over the fan was off!

I think it made a difference. No air at all, car only in standing air.

grrrr.

Here is an updated dyno for me. Jtree I am coming for youuuuuuu. haha.
Top line is todays dyno hp/torque(Nismo exhaust+grounding kit+hiflo cats+Injen CAI) vs run on 11/6/2003(grounding kit+Injen CAI).
Temperature was 70 degrees both times. Done on a dynojet. 5th gear.
