Default 4.08 gears Will this fit my 350Z?

I found this gear and pinion but I am not sure if it will fit the Z. Here is a pic and the owner told me it will fit the R200 diff. case without long nose. He claims it came off of an s15 Sylvia

No, the pinion is different than that of the 350z. Z has a larger diameter pinion as well.

Z has a R200 alright, but there are multiple variants of the R200.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but im 98% sure this will not fit.

Yeah just from the looks of it I thought the same. The ring however seems like it would work. Ohh well I guess I keep on looking.

Why not just buy the ones that fit?

The shop will have to tear apart the diff anyways. That alone is going to cost an arm and a leg. Just do it right if your goingto spend that kind of coin.

The parts sure, but the labor would be the same wouldn't it?
