Default Dual throttle. Is it possible?

Just curious to see if anyone has ever done this or is it even possible to do it and if so, what's required. I currently have the '06 VQ35DE and was wondering if there's a way to change it to dual throttle. I'm a fan of dual intakes, that's all. Here's a pic for reference. Thnx!

Just stick a 2nd intake tube/filter in your engine bay, you dont need to hook it up to anything just place it under there, when you pop your hood people will chit themselves at the sight of two intakes rather then one.

Kinda like adding a 2nd exhaust tip to a single exhaust system to make it into a duel exhaust setup.

Why does it matter? In the end it will be the same.

no, you'd need to fabricate the whole dual throttle body setup for them to be functional, plus the only way to fit two under that hood would be to make it like the hr, and move the de intake over to the right all the way. Not a lot of room in our engine bays.

actually no, this is just not a good idea, a **** ton of $$$$ for maybe 2 horsepower.

spend your money on a turbo kit!!

You would also need to fabricate a new plenum, something companies are avoiding because of the cost.

This is not possible, just get the hr. it redlines 1,000rpm's higher anyways

You can do anything you want. I just don't see any gains coming from it outside of looks. Sticking a 2nd pipe in there duct taped to the side of the engine should net the same power gains.

why not save that $$ and boost the '06? more fun imo...I have an hr with long tube intakes, headers, hfc's, y-pipe, and a single, and still would consider trading for an earlier boosted model!

Because duel intakes is cool.

OP is really willing to trade his car just to gain duel intakes.

I guess if you offered to trade a duel intake Z for my 420WHP non duel intake Z I'd jump on the chance!

But mai duel intaks gainz me 94.6rwhp over you silly DE owners

OP srsly, think about how you wanna modify your car, there is such better stuff to buy, esp. if you have the $3k for that pos 'conversion' kit!! I regret not thinking out my mods, between labor and parts on all these NA mods, I could've just saved that an been 80% of the way to a Greddy tt kit with forged internals...

You would have to convert to cable throttle...move crap all around...lots of work. The only benefit would be more even A/F between banks but then you would probably be worse off in that department because of the cable throttle...now that I think about it, HR swap is probably easier LOL.

Take a look, I think anyone who has do it never really sold it (besidee the previous post) more than likely due to a lack of performance.
