Default Techno Square ECU Upgrade

I am seriously considering the TechnoSquare ECU upgrade and was wondering how many people on the forum have already gotten this modification for their 350.

How do you like it? Do you think there is a noticable difference in performance? Since getting it, do you feel it was a worthwhile investment? If you had it to do over, would you?

If you don't already have it, are you considering it?

Thanks in advance for your responses........

I'm getting it pretty soon, so I can take full advantage of the bored TB from 350EVO.

It makes the most sense if you live near their shop (which it appears you do) becuase you can get them to further fine tune the fuel and timing maps for your particular needs.

I wish they would license their ECU changes and tuning software to other shops (like on the East coast).

Just got it done. With all the air mods I been doing on my car the air ratio got up to 14.7& up. Tadashi got it all back to a flat 12.9. There great at TS . I got +8 whp with pulleys, doesn't sound like much but $600 is a lot better then $8000 for a new engine. I'd do it again and again .

Wedge with just intake and exhaust your A/F curve at WOT is probably still very good. If you're looking for gains go with some HF cats & pulley for $600-700 and protentially gain close to 15-20hp.

Get a wideband done after your mods and then get the ECU program to get you back in order.

Thanks to everyone for their comments. I have also been asking questions of Technosquare via e-mail and have been receiving prompt, well written responses from Danny.

I will be getting the upgrade in December. The great thing for me is that I can take my car to their shop since it is only about 50 miles away. Additionally, if I get more mods or if a better version of the program developed down the road, I will be eligible for another flash at no cost.

Again, thanks for your input.

Ditto, top notch. I went in person and use was treated well and my car seems to love it both N/A and FI.

Highly reccomend them.

I agree. I love the ECU and it's an absolute must for an upgrade. Danny and Tadashi were very helpful and very very nice. I recommend them to anyone who wants an ECU upgrade.

I just had mine reprogrammed this weekend and I love it. Now, I have to get the bored throttle body and it'll definitely feel more alive.

Default Customer Service is A+ thus far

I haven't had my ECU flashed yet (will be sending it out next week). But their customer service and rapid response to my questions via email has been awesome. I'm sending my ECU next Wednesday for it to arrive to TS on Friday. Here's the kicker, they are closed Friday but will have someone come in just so they can flash MY ECU and ship it back to me on the same day!! Now that's customer service!!! If their product is as good as their customer service, which I'm sure it is based on all of the positive comments from fellow members, I will be more than pleased

They do license their software out. We thogh of buying it ourselves, but find it hard to justify s the gains seem to be very minimal considering the investment we haveto make& the retail price to charge....its the limitations of the Z ecu at present I guess.

They are super nice guys and definately know their stuff - I am just waiting for them to get a bit more familiar with the Z before delving into teh software myself.

TechnoSquare rocks! Speaking of which I still need to get their ECU upgrade for the PE Kit as well.
