I just had a Spec Stage 2 clutch installed in my G35. The stock clutch would not hold with the high torque produced by the nitrous.

I have around 200 miles on the new clutch and love it!

Spec spends most of their efforts producing products for the American aftermarket, but they have developed a great reputation from what I've read and heard.

If you do a search on some of the other car boards you'll hear numerous horror stories about Spec clutches failing.

That being said you'll also find people who swear by them, even at 400+ hp levels.

I don't think I've run across an aftermarket company yet that doesn't get mixed reviews. But many of the negative comments are due to things such as improper installs or abuse of the product.

Hopefully I'll feel the same way about Spec products for many, many miles to come!

What is the cost of parts, and how many hours of labor would you expect to install the Spec clutch?
