Default Clutch help asap

Ok guys so just installed an new act fly wheel and clutch we did the clutch adjustment on it. We backed the clutch all the way out and it still is grinding when you try to put into gear as well it has about 2 inchs of play before the clutch starts to be engaged
So any ideas on another adjustment or something that will get it back into some form of spec

Maybe the disc isn't floating on the transmission input shaft like it's supposed to, and that's causing it to drag.

Does the engine turn over at the normal speed when you start the engine with the transmission in gear? Is the cranking speed faster with the car in neutral?

The slave had full movement I'm starting to think it's a hydraulic problem
Because of how much free play us in the clutch as well it won't return all the way
