I would start with more info too. Who is "they"? You have an upgraded clutch, but not upgraded flywheel? What kind of clutch? How many miles on this kit? What makes you think you need a bearing/clutch and flywheel? A job like this depends highly on where you're taking it and who's doing it; there is no typical labor for this job just like any other car.

It would likely be cheaper to resurface the flywheel, resurface the pressure plate, get a new disc if needed, and get a new throw out bearing.

Hold on, you said you just bought the car, and you have a upgraded clutch... Are you sure you have one, or did the previous owner just say that. Most of the time if you have a upgraded clutch, you will have a upgraded flywheel. When they did that, they should have installed a new bearing as well.

It is most likely going to be cheaper if you buy a whole new clutch kit, bearing, and have it insalled. Spend the money to get it done right, and you should not have any problems.

I just got a quote for a new clutch kit installed on my 03 Z' from PepBoys. Estimate was like 925.00ish....Sounds like a good deal to me,

Hope this helps...
