Default Problem with LSD????

I have an enthusiast manual and twice now I've had the SLIP light blink on me when all I was doing was downshifting from say 5th to 4th gear and giving it some gas.

Today for example I was just getting off the interstate taking the off ramp which does the clover leaf thing and when I'm getting ready to merge (on a slightly downward curve still), I shift from 5th to 4th, give it some gas and the SLIP light starts to blink like 4 or five times and I notice it's cutting the power to the wheels, then it's all fine all of a sudden.

Any ideas???

Is it operator error?

that is exactly what the system is designed to do.
when you downshift from 5th at low rpms to 4th at high rpms the torque is increased especially when you push hard on the accelerator, which translates into rear wheel slip especially if you downshifted while cornering. the traction control system senses this and reduces power.

advice to have this NOT happen:
-turn the traction control off (obvious)
-make transition from high gears to lower ones more fluently
-don't make said trasition while in a turn(do it before or after)
-only downshift and "punch" it when you have a straight clear path

hope this helps
