Default clutch, maybe trans problem on FI 350...

ok guys, i am conflustered....i drove my car to class today and had no problems, no noises, nothing seemed wrong...come back out, start car and bam...i can smell burning clutch, and its making a light squeel when the clutch is pushed in....everything feels fine tho...have good clutch pedal, shifts into gear fine....just squeeling and burning clutch smell...going down highway is fine, jump on it and no slippage...what could be my problem??

im assuming the clutch isnt disengauging the whole way? maybe slave cylender? (but wouldnt that cause a leak? or light mushy pedal?)

P.S. i have a Competition stage 4 clutch and flywheel and upgraded clutch lines

ugh...i hate my car!

any help would be greatly appriciated

took trans out...throwout bearing was siezed up and the squeeling was it rubing against the pressure plate ... i assume the smell was the metal against metal...

throwout bearing if the thing makes noise when you press the clutch pedal.

edit: oops noticed that you already posted your results. i usually just read the first post because most people who respond in these threads don't know what they're talking about and suggest stuff that is totally wrong.
