So I bought a used rear, he said it was a 05 with stock lsd and 4.08 gear. I installed it and took it for a drive, it is very noise like whining and a bit of squeaking. It did not have any fluid in when I got it. is this normal sounds?

 

When you installed it, you added fluid...correct?

 

I heard the 4.08 have some whine, but don't know how much is good.
