Actually, everything that you mentioned is good for you motor. Be sure to do it at least once a day (foot to the floor). It helps to clean out the engine and enhance airflow. You are looking at an easy 15+ hp gain.

It's obvious English is not his first language and he is from another country.

Once the engine is at proper operating temperature the Z can be redlined as you wish, but remember it increases mechanical wear so longevity will take a hit if you end up keeping it for the long run. Just make sure your car is tip-top shape if you plan on driving her hard. Also use a highly quality oil while your at it. Since you are from the UAE I would install a engine oil cooler and larger oil pan, cuz I bet you car runs hot. By the way how much is gas per liter in Dubai and has it increased much, with all the unrest in the ME?

Shukran habibi. Remember to at least do the oil cooler, if you are going to redline often. I love the noise it makes too .

While these questions are definitely deserving of a double face... no triple faceplam, that is just mean guys....

Look bud, reving your engine is not inherently bad, its kind of supposed to do that but "under load" (meaning while in gear and you know moving...)

Reving your engine a few thousand RPM's before you shut off the car like an idiot is probably not going to brake the car right there and then but its not the best thing for it. Reving any engine without a load on it can cause ware of the bearing, valves and possiblity valvetrain/crank over time and it's twice as bad for the motor cold and without adequate oil pressure...

Here is the biggest tip I can give you... just don't ever, ever rev your engine to the red line period... in fact don't ever even drive over 50 MPH... I might have just saved your life one day.

No explanation needed . Believe it or not occassionally, I will encounter a fellow American who has the same literary level as yourself. It is by no means an insult, since it is not your native tongue.

It takes hard skin to last on these forums for noobs, but you'll be fine.

Revving is fine.
Running to redline, after it's warmed up (at least wait for the temp needle to move) is fine.
Keep an eye on your oil level regardless.
