Default Parked on incline in 1st and car rolls back

First off, this is my first post. Lurked around here for a few months. Not new to cars or forums; never posted before because every question I had was answered by searching. So thanks everyone for the great info. However, I dont know if Im wording it wrong or its just a particular problem thats hard to find an answer to but couldnt find anything definitive. I have a 07 ppw with 36k I got about 2 months ago. only mods so far are injen cai and bassani exhaust. I park at home at a slight incline, never had problems. Im visiting my parents out of town and they have a very steep incline driveway, parked on it before without problem. tried to just now and it parks but lets go and rolls about a foot and stops again then rolls and stops etc. best way to word it is it feels like its rolling over the teeth in the gear and stops when its over one and so on. my guess is clutch is slipping but havent had any other problems so far. can anyone confirm???

It's rolling like that as each cylinder of the engine builds up and the releases pressure, as the engine turns and the intake/exhaust valves open and close. Choose a higher gear and use the handbrake.

It's not good to turn the engine backwards, which is what you're doing if the car is rolling backwards with the car in a forward gear.

Put it in reverse. The high gear ratio will provide the most resistance, and the engine will turn in the proper direction if it does move.

If you're already using the parking brake, it sounds like it needs to be adjusted or fixed.

Welcome. If you start the car on a incline of course it will roll. The clutch is disengaged. There is nothing to prevent the car from moving.

I've got the same problem. As mentioned above, leaving it in reverse solves it (front of car facing uphill).
